As the Sr. Engineering Manager for our Industrial Refrigeration Contracting Company in the USA, you will oversee and lead the engineering department to ensure the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality industrial refrigeration systems. - Project Management:

- Oversee and manage the engineering aspects of industrial refrigeration projects, from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, providing technical guidance and support to resolve complex engineering issues.
- Technical Expertise and Innovation:

- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to industrial refrigeration systems and engineering practices.
- Drive innovation and identify opportunities for technology advancements, process improvements, and cost optimization.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex engineering challenges, assisting in resolving critical issues.
- Engineering Process Optimization:

- Develop and implement engineering processes, standards, and best practices to enhance project efficiency, quality, and consistency.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, software, and technologies to improve engineering workflows and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective integration of engineering activities with procurement, construction, and maintenance processes.
- Continuous development of drawing standards.
- Client Relationship Management:

- Act as a technical advisor to clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing expert guidance and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Engage in business development activities, including proposal preparation, technical presentations, and relationship building, to support the growth and expansion of the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in engineering management, preferably in the industrial refrigeration or HVAC industry.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, equipment, and components and a strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing engineering team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards, such as ASHRAE, IIAR, and local regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, improve engineering processes, and implement new technologies.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites and client meetings.
