Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize aSa Estimating software to prepare comprehensive estimates for rebar materials based on project specifications, drawings, and other relevant information.
- Analyze project requirements, including quantities, dimensions, and material specifications, to develop accurate take-offs and estimates.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope, timelines, and budget constraints, and adjust estimates as necessary to meet project goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and market conditions to ensure competitiveness and accuracy in estimates.
- Review and validate estimates to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Provide support to project managers and procurement teams throughout the procurement process, including supplier negotiations and material procurement.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions to provide expertise on rebar estimation and contribute to project planning and decision-making.
- 5-8 years of experience in rebar estimation, with a focus on Texas construction projects.
- Proficiency in aSa Estimating software or similar rebar estimation tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in estimating.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
