ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Direct QA personnel; assign work, review performance, and provide coaching/counseling as needed

• Facilitate all necessary quality meetings; attend production meetings

• Participate in engineering design/tolerance reviews, APQP, PPAP process and make print change recommendations to the customer

• Research and resolve production quality issues; evaluate potential rejects and take corrective action

• Establish all in-process inspection plans

• Use continuous improvement to implement preventive versus reactive quality techniques

• Maintain company-specified quality certifications; oversee the auditing and arrange the schedule on a timely basis; conduct plant-wide training

• Work with process owners to establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system

• Organize and train personnel in proactive approaches with Total Quality Management (TQM) and other quality methods

• Develop and distribute quality-related KPIs, such COPQ

• Maintain production control plans/job books/IQMS up to date with current revisions
