QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must demonstrate thorough knowledge in the operation and maintenance of our ammonia systems.
- Must be able to work with and direct the people in the refrigeration department in the various aspects of maintenance and construction of ammonia and hvac systems.
- Must be able to work with and direct outside contractors in the various aspects of maintenance and construction of ammonia and hvac systems.
- Responsible for personal safety, and jointly responsible for department member and system safety.
- Should be able to figure out problems with refrigeration equipment either by themselves or with the help of service people or other Hatfield people.
- Must be certified in scba.
- Must have attended Frick school.
- Responsible for keeping refrigeration people busy.
- Responsible to help find work that needs to be done.
- Responsible to help give out advice to others in the department.
- Responsible to help solve discipline problems in the department.
- Responsible to help take work and schedule the completion of the job.
- Shall be responsible for all aspects of refrigeration and duties of the department supervisor in their absence.
- Responsible to help communicate with management from other departments as to the status of refrigeration equipment and room temperatures.
- Must show total support for upper management decisions and display this positive attitude to those under them.
- Help maintain a department hourly average of 45 to 50 hours.
- Help institute process safety management for ammonia and train team in ammonia safety.
- Responsible to take part in the on-call and early person rotation and help fill in when others are unavailable or absent.
- Responsible to line up Saturday and daily work.
- Try and work one half Saturday a month or as often as conditions require.
- Maintain 45 to 50 hours a week or as many as work conditions require.
- Help to maintain clean engine room and work areas.
- Needs to be fluent in word, excel and power point
Responsibilities
