At Mobilio Wood we are dedicated to helping our clients succeed. Here are some of the results we have achieved over the years.
Attorney Peter C. Wood, Jr. represented a group of employees at a Northeastern Pennsylvania manufacturing plant who alleged that they had been subjected to a hostile work environment, disparate treatment, and unlawful retaliation by their employer due to their race, ethnicity, and sex.
Through their counsel, the employees filed charges of discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, alleging violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act. The EEOC investigated the matter and thereafter issued a finding of reasonable cause that unlawful employment practices had occurred.
Following the EEOC’s determination, the parties engaged in extensive negotiations. Faced with the prospect of an impending federal lawsuit, the company agreed to pay a global monetary settlement in the amount of $2,200,000.00. The company also agreed to conduct anti-harassment training for its employees and to strictly enforce its anti-harassment policies.
Attorney Peter C. Wood, Jr. represented an employee of a Pennsylvania company who alleged that she had been subjected to an escalating pattern of unwanted sexual advances by a company executive. The employee eventually rejected her harasser’s advances, and was terminated from the company as a result.
Attorney Wood negotiated a settlement of close to One Million Dollars, before a lawsuit was ever filed.

Mobilio Wood represented a child and his mother after the child was crushed by a loose gravestone. The child suffered a fractured leg and lacerated achilles. Mom suffered emotional distress and a back injury when she attempted to lift the gravestone off of her child. Within four (4) months of receiving case, and before a lawsuit was ever filed, the matter was settled for $250,000.00.
Attorney Matthew Mobilio represented a motor vehicle operator who, while traveling on the highway, was struck by a wave of woodchips that had originated from a tree-trimming truck traveling in the opposite direction. Attorney Mobilio negotiated a settlement in the amount of $250,000 with the tree-trimmer’s insurance company without having to file suit.
