The process consists of an ultra-thin application of a gap-graded Hot Mix wearing course placed over a heavy application of polymer modified emulsion by a specialized machine in a single pass.
This process is suited for all types of roads, from low volume housing developments to use on the interstate highway system. The material can be applied to asphalt or concrete surfaces and will outperform all other types of Hot Mix wearing courses.
The product is excellent for use on high traffic areas due to its ability to be quickly re-opened to traffic within minutes. This system has a proven life of 10 – 15 years, under all types of conditions, making this material an important tool for preserving roads and highways.
